2 Months post op, a time for the mountain bike.

by Nathan | January 23rd, 2010

Had my 8 week follow-up w/ Dr Franco this week, everything seems to be on track. Other than a minor setback in the form of a sinus infection that I’ve been dealing with for 2 weeks, continue to make progress.

Woke up this morning and was surprised to discover ~ 4″ of snow. That can only mean one thing: A perfect time to get on the mtn bike for the first time post-op. Got about 3 hrs in the North Foothills w/ Lenny.

  1. Are you mad?? You never cease to amaze me. I’m celebrating at nearly 11 weeks post op lasting 5 mins on the roadie lol

  2. Hi Jess! Probably a little mad, yes. Or so I’ve been told. =) Great snow singletrack conditions like this on a Saturday happen about every 2 years, so you gotta get on it. Good news is I didn’t pay for it, feeling good today. Been lucky with this recovery so far (knock on wood). Keep at it, you’re making progress!

  3. Nice! Muttonchops, though? When are the tats coming?

  4. I figure the chops make me faster on the mtn bike. Maybe people will confuse me w/ T Brown or Kabush.
I’ll have to ditch it for tri season, just doesn’t go w/ an aero helmet…

  5. this guy looks like you but I doubt this is in your diet lol

  6. Oi! That would surely end me. =)
