Tomorrow is 2 weeks.

by Nathan | December 8th, 2009

Feeling pretty good, not much to report. Getting back to work for 1/2 to 3/4 days this week, more than ready to ditch the crutches but I realize the benefit is not entirely the support of weight but the fact that they slow me down and make things more deliberate. One more week…

Don’t let crutches slow you down.

  1. You are doing so well, I’m impressed! I am now 4 weeks post op and scared of going back to work lol still using one crutch when out. Got on the stationary bike today for the first time, 5 mins was more than enough, don’t know how you did it so early!

  2. Only republicans drink out of bottles. ;-)

  3. Great to see you’re doing well. I had my surgery last week and what they found was very similar to what they found on your hip. Pain was pretty bad the first few days but I’m hanging in there and slowly doing better. I second you on the crutches…yuck!

  4. Matt, I don’t discriminate, bottle, can, glass; it’s what’s inside that counts. =)

    Jess, how goes it?

Mary, sounds like you are on track! The hardest thing to do is to take it easy and not rush the recovery. I was checking your blog the other day for an update, I figured your surgery had to be soon.

  5. I know, I need to update the blog…soon. Things are really well though. I’m doing much better than I thought. Ready to ditch the crutches and it’s only one week..agree on not rushing though. I’m off to Mexico for Christmas so it will be cocktails, crutches and sun :) Glad you’re well and Happy Holidays to you and Vanessa!
